Blurbs from the Branch – Too Pickley

Filed under: Books, Kids — Tags: — Bethany Branch @ 10:00 am

Growing up I was a picky eater. In fact, I was so picky my parents quickly lost count of how many times I wrinkled my nose at something on my dinner plate. To this day, I can still hear my parents saying, “How can you say you don’t like it if you’ve never tried it?” So when I first saw the cover of Too Pickley! by Jean Reidy, I laughed out loud at the boy raising his nose at a plate of pickles. Here was the perfect reminder of all my picky eater days!

Written in rhyme, Too Pickley! is sure to serve up a few laughs when shared with the picky eaters in your family. After all, who wants to eat foods that are too slurpy or too burpy?

And for the picky dresser in your family, Too Purpley! by Jean Reidy might be the perfect fit for those days when all the clothes in your child’s closet seem to be too tickly or too prickly.

 Happy Reading, everyone!
